The market is more ripe than ever for smart entrepreneurs
Lynn Terry over at Clicknewz.com has posted her Year End Predictions: Looking Ahead At 2010 and there’s a lot of insight to be had in what she wrote. I especially like this paragraph:
Now is a great time to get serious about your online business. While some people will complain that it’s too late, the truth is that the early pioneers have paved the way for you. We’re only in our 2nd decade of ecommerce, and the market is more ripe than ever for smart entrepreneurs.
What are your plans for 2010? Will you be starting a new online business, taking your existing business to the next level, or reviving some of those sadly ignored niche sites and domain names you’ve had on the back burner far too long?

Instead of actually putting up more niche sites, I’m going to discard some that are underachievers. I figure they’re a waste of time – time that could be better spent on sites that have more promise.
I also have to play a better social game. I don’t utilize Twitter or Facebook like I should and I never actively seek links. It’s an area that I need to buckle down in!
